Interactive Machinima
This is an animation made by our team using Unreal, called Blood&Steel. The details of thisanimation are in One page and Moodboard.
I was responsible for animation design, music design, and part of the motion capture in thiscourse.
About animation design:
I made a part of the animation of Henry vs Robot, starting from 2:40 to 2:55. When I firstembedded motion capture into the animation, the problem I encountered was that every time thenext animation was played, the character would be moved back to the initial position. This madethe animation very strange. Later, I found that I could solve the problem by matching this skeletonin the previous clip. At first, my teammates used the Transform pull bar to move the position forediting, which was undoubtedly very time-consuming. After I announced this method, the workefficiency was greatly improved.

About music design:
In the game, I made the music for the final ending (4:05-5:20) and Flashback (2:55-3:30). These are two very important parts for our project. I was fully responsible for the music design ofthese two parts and made two excellent soundtracks. The soundtrack is in the "Game Music" ofmy portfolio.
About Motion Capture:
Some of the actions in the project were captured by me personally. This was a milestone forme because it was my first time to participate in motion capture. Of course, the results were verysatisfying. For example, the robot's bottoming action after its head was blown up and Henry'sfalling action were performed by me.
